THE CORPORATION IS A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY AS DEFINED BY THE CODE OF VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED, IN SEC. 38.2-4900, ET SEQ. THE CORPORATION WAS ORGANIZED UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE CORPORATION OWNS AND OPERATES A RESIDENTIAL AND HEALTH CARE CENTER KNOWN AS BRANDERMILL WOODS FOR THE AGED.
