CRRA PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH ITS CANOPY REAL ESTATE INSTITUTE SCHOOL. THE SCHOOL OFFERS A VARIETY OF NC REAL ESTATE COMMISSION APPROVED PRE-LICENSING AND POST-LICENSING CONTINUING EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION COURSES FOR ITS MEMBERS. CRRA ALSO PROVIDES A VARIETY OF ADDITIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FREE TO MEMBERS, SUCH AS ITS REALTOR(R) HOT TOPICS AND BROKER BRIEFINGS SEMINARS, ON PERTINENT ISSUES AFFECTING MEMBERS AND THEIR BUSINESS.
CRRA PROVIDES LOCAL ADVOCACY BY BEING THE COLLECTIVE VOICE FOR LOCAL REALTORS(R), HOMEBUYERS, AND SELLERS. CRRA KEEPS MEMBERS INFORMED OF, AND COORDINATES INVOLVEMENT IN SUPPORT OR OPPOSITION OF, LEGISLATIVE AND/OR REGULATORY POLICIES AND ACTIONS THAT IMPACT THE HOME BUYING AND SELLING PROCESS AS WELL AS THE WAY MEMBERS DO BUSINESS.
CRRA PROVIDES GRIEVANCE AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS SERVICES TO ENFORCE THE HIGH STANDARDS OF CONDUCT EXPECTED FROM REALTOR(R) MEMBERS. CRRA PROVIDES A PROCESS WHERE MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC CAN FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST A REALTOR(R) FOR VIOLATION OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS(R) CODE OF ETHICS OR FOR AN ARBITRATION DISPUTE. COMPLAINTS ARE HEARD BY THE GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE, AND IF DETERMINED TO HAVE MERIT, GO FORWARD FOR A HEARING BY THE PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS COMMITTEE. IN LIEU OF AN ARBITRATION HEARING, MEDIATION SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE.
