CONFERENCES AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - NCTM TYPICALLY HOLDS AN ANNUAL MEETING AND EXPOSITION ALONG WITH SOME SMALLER REGIONAL AND VIRTUAL CONFERENCES EACH YEAR, WITH AN AVERAGE COMBINED ATTENDANCE OF 10,000. TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS AND OTHERS ATTEND PRESENTATIONS, LECTURES, PANEL DISCUSSIONS AND WORKSHOPS AND VIEW EXHIBITS OF THE LATEST MATHEMATICS EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND INNOVATIONS. NCTM OFFERS A DIVERSE ARRAY OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENTS, SERVICES, AND ONLINE RESOURCES.

PRINCIPLES TO ACTIONS: ENSURING MATHEMATICAL SUCCESS FOR ALL (2015) DESCRIBES THE PRINCIPLES AND ACTIONS THAT ARE ESSENTIAL FOR A HIGH-QUALITY MATHEMATICS EDUCATION FOR ALL STUDENTS. NCTM'S NEW THREE-BOOK SERIES, CATALYZING CHANGE, IDENTIFIES THE VEXING ISSUES THAT HAVE LONG PLAGUED MATHEMATICS EDUCATION IN PRE-K AND ELEMENTARY GRADES, MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND HIGH SCHOOL. NCTM ALSO PUBLISHES A PEER REVIEWED JOURNAL COVERING ALL GRADE BANDS.
