MEMBERSHIP - FOUNDED IN 1920, NCTM IS THE WORLD'S LARGEST MATHEMATICS EDUCATION ORGANIZATION WITH 31,000 MEMBERS AND MORE THAN 200 AFFILIATES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. NCTM MEMBERS RECEIVE A WIDE RANGE OF RESOURCES RELATED TO THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF MATHEMATICS FROM PREKINDERGARTEN THROUGH HIGHER EDUCATION.
CONFERENCES AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - NCTM TYPICALLY HOLDS AN ANNUAL MEETING AND EXPOSITION ALONG WITH THREE SMALLER REGIONAL CONFERENCES EACH YEAR, WITH AN AVERAGE COMBINED ATTENDANCE OF 15,000.
