EDUCATION: VMUG PROVIDES EDUCATION THROUGH WEBINARS ON ITS WEBSITE AND HOLDS OVER 35 ONE DAY EVENTS EACH YEAR WHERE MULTIPLE EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES ARE PROVIDED.
NETWORKING: VMUG PROVIDES NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH ONLINE GLOBAL, LOCAL, AND INTEREST-BASED COMMUNITIES. VMUG'S MULTI-DAY CONFERENCES ALSO PROVIDE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES.
ADVOCACY: VMUG PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADVOCACY THROUGH ITS VMUG LOCAL LEADER PROGRAM. EACH VMUG LEADER IS A VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LOCAL VMUG COMMUNITY AND ACTING AS THE PRIMARY POINT OF CONTACT ON BEHALF OF THE GROUP. THE LEADER OF THE USER GROUP MUST BE A VMUG MEMBER AND A USER OR PARTNER THAT SERVES IN A TECHNICAL ROLE AT HIS/HER COMPANY. LEADERS ARE EXPECTED TO HOLD QUARTERLY MEETING/EVENTS FOR THEIR LOCAL VMUG MEMBERSHIP.
