UNION DE VECINOS IS A GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION THAT ADDRESSES ISSUES RELATED TO ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE, THE RIGHT TO HOUSING, AND THE RIGHT TO HEALTHY AND STABLE NEIGHBORHOODS IN BOYLE HEIGHTS AND NEIGHBORING CITIES.

WE ORGANIZE NEIGHBORHOOD AND BUILDING COMMITTEES WHO FOCUS ON VARIOUS ISSUES AS PRIORITIZED BY COMMUNITY MEMBERS. THIS INCLUDES TENANT AND HOUSING ISSUES AS WELL AS ENVIRONMENTAL AND HEALTH ISSUES. DURING 2021 WE ALSO PROVIDED ASSISTANCE AND MUTUAL AID TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN NEED.


ORGANIZING WITH OTHER PARTNERS THE PEOPLES SUMMIT IN WHICH OVER 2,000 ATTENDED A 4 DAY EVENT.
