THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING AND DIALOGUE AMONG THE MEMBER CONGREGATIONS AND TO COLLABORATE AND COORDINATE ACTIVITIES IN WORKING FOR THE COMMON GOOD OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH ACTION AND SERVICE.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES MONETARY SUPPORT THROUGH DONATIONS TO COMMUNITY PROGRAMS AND PROGRAMS THAT ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, PROVIDES TEMPORARY AND/OR EMERGENCY HELP TO LOCAL INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES THROUGH THE LEND A HAND PROGRAM, AND HELPS INDIGENT HOMEOWNERS REPAIR AND WEATHER-PROOF THEIR SUBSTANDARD HOMES THROUGH THE WORKS PROJECTS PROGRAM. THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO MAKE CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS WHEN AND IF LEWES-REHOBOTH ASSOCIATION OF CONGREGATIONS, INC.
