SMART RECOVERY USA'S MISSION IS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE TO ACHIEVE INDEPENDENCE FROM ADDICTION PROBLEMS WITH OUR SCIENCE-BASED 4-POINT PROGRAM. WE OFFER TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO OVER 900 VOLUNTEER-LED LOCAL IN-PERSON AND ONLINE MUTUAL SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, AND AN ADDITIONAL 60+ NATIONAL ONLINE MEETINGS THROUGH OUR SMART RECOVERY ONLINE COMMUNITY. WE ALSO PARTNER WITH AND TRAIN TREATMENT PROFESSIONALS WHO BUILD SMART RECOVERY TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES INTO THEIR WORK WITH THEIR CLIENTS.

OUR PRIMARY PROGRAM IS PROVIDING TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO THE VOLUNTEER FACILITATORS OF LOCAL MEETINGS (IN-PERSON AND ONLINE) ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. IN 2021, WE TRAINED 146 NEW FACILITATORS IN SMART RECOVERY TOOLS, TECHNIQUES, AND MEETING FACILITATION METHODS. WE ALSO TRAINED 543 TREATMENT PROFESSIONALS TO USE SMART RECOVERY IN THEIR TREATMENT OF INDIVIDUALS STRUGGLING WITH SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER. AS OF 12/31/2021, WE SUPPORTED OVER 900 LOCAL IN-PERSON AND ONLINE MEETINGS, AND ANOTHER 60+ NATIONAL ONLINE MEETINGS THROUGH OUR SMART RECOVERY ONLINE COMMUNITY.
