PROVIDES A SINGULAR NATIONAL VOICE THAT WOULD ADVOCATE FOR THE INTERESTS OF PORTUGUESE-AMERICANS IN THE UNITED STATES. AT THE CENTER OF THEIR VISION WAS TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN CHANNELS OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF PORTUGAL, VIA THE EMBASSY OF PORTUGAL TO WASHINGTON D.C. AND THE US CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION REPRESENTING PORTUGUESE-AMERICAN COMMUNITIES.

INTERNSHIP AND SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS PALCUS AND PFSA (PORTUGUESE FRATERNAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA) HAVE PARTNERED TO PROVIDE A SUMMER INTERNSHIP IN PORTUGAL TO A PFSA MEMBER WHO IS AN UNDERGRADUATE OR GRADUATE STUDENT. THROUGH THE PALCUS/PFSA PARTNERSHIP, ALL COSTS RELATED TO THE INTERNSHIP AND LODGING IN PORTUGAL WILL BE COVERED. THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM WAS ESTABLISHED BY THE ROSA FAMILY IN 2012 AND IS MAINTAINED BY DONATIONS BY MARC F. ROSA WITH MATCHING FUNDS FROM HIS EMPLOYER AND OTHERS.
