LSLT CONDUCTED 12 OUTREACH AND EDUCATION EVENTS, BOTH VIRTUALLY AND IN-PERSON, REACHING APPROXIMATELY 150 PEOPLE DURING THE YEAR. LSLT PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED 19 E-MAIL NEWSLETTERS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS TO AN AVERAGE OF 1700 INDIVIDUALS AND AVERAGED REACHING 360 PEOPLE. TWO CONSERVATION EASEMENTS WERE SETTLED WITH THE MARYLAND RURAL LEGACY DIVIDING CREEK PROGRAM, THREE EASEMENTS WERE SETTLED WITH THE MARYLAND RURAL LEGACY QUANTICO CREEK PROGRAM, TWO OF WHICH ALSO USED THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE REPI PROGRAM, AND ONE EASEMENT WAS SETTLED WITH THE DONATED EASEMENT PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MARYLAND ENVIRONMENTAL TRUST.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH OUTREACH AND EDUCATION ARE CRUCIAL TO THE SUCCESS OF LSLT AND THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION.
