MEETINGS - THERE ARE THREE CORE MEETINGS: ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM, INFORMATICS SUMMIT AND CLINICAL INFORMATICS CONFERENCE:1. AMIA ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM - THE LARGEST MEETING OF THE YEAR AND PROVIDES A FORUM FOR VARIOUS TOPICS ON BIOMEDICAL AND HEALTH INFORMATICS.2. INFORMATICS SUMMIT - THE SUMMIT FOLLOWS THE TRADITION OF OFFERING AN EXCITING, INNOVATIVE AND ENGAGING PROGRAM AROUND FOUR MAIN AREAS: TRANSLATIONAL BIOINFORMATICS, CLINICAL RESEARCH INFORMATICS, IMPLEMENTATION INFORMATICS AND DATA SCIENCE3. CLINICAL INFORMATICS CONFERENCE -CIC IS WHERE CLINICIANS, DATA SCIENTISTS, HIT DEVELOPERS AND RESEARCHERS GATHER TO LEARN ABOUT IMPLEMENTING TEAM-BASED, INTEGRATED HEALTHCARE DRIVEN BY DATA, EVIDENCE, AND BEST PRACTICE. THE SUMMIT AND CLINICAL INFORMATICS CONFERENCE MEETINGS WERE HELD VIRTUALLY, AND THE ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM WAS FACE-TO-FACE.

CIBRC - AMIA'S CLINICAL INFORMATICS BOARD REVIEW COURSE (CIBRC) PROVIDES AMERICAN BOARD OF MEDICAL SPECIALTIES (ABMS) BOARD-CERTIFIED PHYSICIANS WITH THE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO ASSIST THEM IN BECOMING CERTIFIED IN THE SUBSPECIALTY OF CLINICAL INFORMATICS.3. AHIC - ADVANCED HEALTH INFORMATICS CERTIFICATION (AHIC) IS DEVELOPMENT OF A PATHWAY TO CERTIFICATION FOR INDIVIDUALS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE MEDICAL SUBSPECIALTY CERTIFICATION.4.
