TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF HEREDITARY ANGIOEDEMA AND PROVIDE PATIENTS AND PHYSICIANS WITH INFORMATION ON BEST PRACTICES FOR HAE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AN HAE WEBSITE AND PRINTED MATERIALS. THE HAEA IS A STAUNCH ADVOCATE FOR (1) PATIENT ACCESS AND SUFFICIENT INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT FOR CURRENTLY AVAILABLE THERAPIES, AND (2) RESEARCH DIRECTED TOWARDS HELPING PATIENTS LEAD A NORMAL LIFE AND, ULTIMATELY, FINDING A CURE.
