SPREE PROGRAM & GREENWAY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM:SOUTH PLATTE RIVER ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ("SPREE") PROVIDES EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN ON THE SOUTH PLATTE RIVER IN DENVER. SPREE AIMS TO DEVELOP A POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE S PLATTE RIVER AND DENVER AREA CITIZENS THROUGH SCHOOL EXCURSIONS (150,000 STUDENTS OVER TIME), WEEKEND EVENTS, AND SUMMER CAMPS (8,100 OVER TIME).
