THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION IS TO PROVIDE ITS MEMBERS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK COLLECTIVELY TO DEVELOP INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE THE OVERALL WORK PRACTICES OF THE INDUSTRY, AND PROVIDE A FORUM FOR INDUSTRY NETWORKING.

INDUSTRY TRAINING: THE INDUSTRY TRAINING PROGRAM PROVIDES A TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAM WHICH IS RUN JOINTLY WITH THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. IT PROVIDES INDUSTRY SPECIFIC MATERIALS TESTING AND CERTIFICATION TRAINING. 1,120 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM IN 2021.
MEMBER EVENTS: THE ORGANIZATION HAS SOCIAL/NETWORKING EVENTS EACH YEAR TO BENEFIT THE MEMBERS, INDUSTRY, AND COMMUNITY. THE SPORTING CLAY EVENT HAD 146 PARTICIPANTS, THE CLC TOURNAMENT HAD 129 PARTICIPANTS, THE GOLF CLASSIC HAD 133 PARTICIPANTS, THE STATE CONVENTION HAD 195 PARTICIPANTS, AND THE HOLIDAY DINNER EVENT HAD 237 PARTICIPANTS.
INDUSTRY EDUCATION: THE INDUSTRY EDUCATION PROGRAM INCLUDES PROVIDING IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR INDUSTRY EMPLOYEES. THREE NEW CLASSES WERE ADDED IN 2020. THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 1,450 STUDENTS IN THIS PROGRAM.
