CPLC ACTION FUND IS A 501(C)(4) ENTITY ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT THE ALIGNED MISSION IN SUPPORT OF CHICANOS POR LA CAUSA INC., A 501(C)(3) ENTITY, VIA ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL EMPOWERMENT. THE ACTION FUND IS ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT REGARDING COMMUNITY ISSUES INCLUDING PROPOSED, PENDING AND NEW PUBLIC POLICY RELATED TO EDUCATION, AFFORDABLE HOUSING, HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND OPPORTUNITY AND COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT. THE MAIN FOCUS IN 2022 WAS ON MIDTERM ELECTIONS AND GETTING MORE LATINOS TO VOTE IN ORDER TO CHANGE TRADITIONALLY LOW TURNOUT. THE "LATINO LOUD" GOTV CAMPAIGN WAS LAUNCHED IN EARLY 2022 VIA AN $8 MILLION INVESTMENT THAT INCLUDED DIGITAL MEDIA, TRADITIONAL MEDIA, CANVASSSING, MAILERS, EVENTS, AND VOTER REGISTRATION DRIVES TARGETING THE PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTION. CPLC ACTION FUND ALSO WAS INVOLVED IN PUSHING FOR THE PASSAGE OF PROPOSITION 308 TO ALLOW ARIZONA DREAMERS TO PAY IN-STATE COLLEGE TUITION INSTEAD OF COST-PROHIBITIVE OUT-OF-STATE TUITION.
