THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO SECURING FOR ALL PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL AND/OR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE AND REALIZE THEIR GOALS OF WHERE AND HOW THEY LEARN, LIVE, WORK, AND PLAY AS WELL AS LIMITING THE CONSEQUENCES OF INTELLECTUAL AND/OR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES THROUGH EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND SUPPORT OF FRIENDS AND THE COMMUNITY.

THE PROGRAM PROVIDES DAY HABILITATION SERVICES FOR UP TO 25 INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES. EACH PERSON HAS AN INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAM THAT MEETS THE STATE OF ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH STANDARDS. IN ADDITION TO DAILY PROGRAMMING, TRANSPORTATION AND LUNCH ARE PROVIDED. ALL OF THIS IS PROVIDED AT NO COST TO THE INDIVIDUALS.
