CONDUCTED PROFESSIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENTS FOR MEMBERS AND APPRENTICES OF THE ASSOCIATION. THIS PROVIDES GOLF PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS AND APPRENTICES OF THE ASSOCIATION, AS WELL AS APPROXIMATELY 800 AMATEUR GOLFERS LOOKING TO EXPAND THEIR INVOLVEMENT IN THE GAME OF GOLF.
CONDUCTED A JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES JUNIOR GOLFERS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE. THE IOWA JUNIOR TOUR IS COMPRISED OF APPROXIMATELY 800 JUNIORS.
THE IOWA SECTION PGA PROVIDED USGA HANDICAP COMPUTATION SERVICES TO GOLF CLUBS IN IOWA. THIS SERVICE REACHES APPROXIMATELY 5,000 AMATEUR GOLFERS AND HELPS TO EXPAND AMATEURS KNOWLEDGE OF THE GAME AND ESTABLISH A RELATIVE BENCHMARK TO ENCOURAGE THEIR CONTINUED IMPROVEMENT IN THE GAME OF GOLF.
