THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL, WHICH CONDUCTS THE CORNHUSKER STATE GAMES, LIVE HEALTHY NEBRASKA, AND NSC RACING EVENTS, IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WITH A MISSION OF PROVIDING QUALITY COMPETITION FOR AMATEUR ATHLETES OF ALL AGES AND TO PROMOTE ACTIVE AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHOICES.

THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE 2021 CORNHUSKER STATE GAMES IN WHICH OVER 10,000 AMATEUR ATHLETES PARTICIPATE IN 70 SPORTS.
THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES A SERIES OF RACES IN WHICH PARTICIPANTS TEST THEIR SKILLS AND ENDURANCE IN A VARIETY OF DISCIPLINES. ONE OF THESE EVENTS IS THE PUMPKIN RUN, WHICH HAS 2,703 PARTICIPANTS.
THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE WELLPOWER MOVEMENT FOR ADULTS, A WEIGHT-LOSS COMPETITION IN WHICH PARTICIPANTS COMPETE OVER A 100-DAY PERIOD USING APPROPRIATE DIET AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. THE 2021 "WELLPOWER100 CHALLENGE" HAS 7,400 PARTICIPANTS.
THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE NEBRASKA CORPORATE GAMES, A COMPETITION WHICH ENABLES AND SUPPORTS COMPANY PRIDE, CORPORATE WELLNESS, AND TEAMWORK THROUGH HEALTHY COMPETITION.
