THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL, WHICH CONDUCTS THE CORNHUSKER STATE GAMES, LIVE HEALTHY NEBRASKA, AND NSC RACING EVENTS, IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WITH A MISSION OF PROVIDING QUALITY COMPETITION FOR AMATEUR ATHLETES OF ALL AGES AND TO PROMOTE ACTIVE AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHOICES.

THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE 2023 CORNHUSKER STATE GAMES IN WHICH OVER 8,000 AMATEUR ATHLETES PARTICIPATE IN 76 SPORTS.


THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE LINCOLN CORPORATE GAMES, A COMPETITION WHICH ENABLES AND SUPPORTS COMPANY PRIDE, CORPORATE WELLNESS, AND TEAMWORK THROUGH HEALTHY COMPETITION. THE LINCOLN CORPORATE GAMES INCLUDE 12 SPORTS AND 3,900 PARTICIPANTS. THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE OMAHA CORPORATE GAMES, A COMPETITION WHICH ENABLES AND SUPPORTS COMPANY PRIDE, CORPORATE WELLNESS, AND TEAMWORK THROUGH HEALTHY COMPETITION. THE OMAHA CORPORATE GAMES INCLUSE 13 SPORTS AND 4,500 PARTICIPANTS. THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE GOLF SCRAMBLE, WHICH HAS 104 GOLFERS PARTICIPATE. THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE NE AAU GRAND PRIX, WHICH HAS 110 VOLLEYBALL TEAMS PARTICIPATING FROM 5 DIFFERENT STATES. THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANZIES AND OPERATES THE NEBRASKA SHOWDOWN, WHICH HAS 38 VOLLEYBALL TEAMS AND 95 PICKLEBALL PARTICIPANTS. THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE NEBRASKA DIAMOND FEST, WHICH HAS 35 SOFTBALL TEAMS AND 525 PARTICIPANTS.


THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES A SERIES OF RACES IN WHICH PARTICIPANTS TEST THEIR ENDURANCE AND SKILLS IN A VARIETY OF DISCIPLINES. ONE OF THESE EVENTS IS THE PUMPKIN RUN, WHICH HAS 4,000 PARTICIPANTS.


THE NEBRASKA SPORTS COUNCIL ORGANIZES AND OPERATES THE WELLPOWER MOVEMENT FOR ADULTS, A WEIGHT-LOSS COMPETITION IN WHICH PARTICIPANTS COMPETE OVER A 100-DAY PERIOD USING APPROPRIATE DIET AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. THE 2023 "WELLPOWER100 CHALLENGE" HAS 9,000 PARTICIPANTS.
