PROVIDE MANAGEMENT AND FUNDRAISING TO HOST THE 2017 WORLD FINALS OF THE INTERNATIONAL COLLEGIATE PROGRAMMING CONTEST IN RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA, AND PREPARE CODER WORKFORCE TO AUGMENT TRADITIONAL EDUCATION THROUGH INTERNET INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING AND EXPERIENCES.

PLANNING CONTINUED FOR THE 2017 ACM INTERNATIONAL COLLEGIATE PROGRAMMING CONTEST (ICPC) WHICH WAS HELD IN MAY 2017 IN RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA. FUND RAISING AND MANAGEMENT FOR THE EVENT CONTINUED. OVER 1,400 PARTICIPANTS PARTICIPATED IN THIS WORLDWIDE COMPETITION. FUNDRAISING IN 2017 INVOLVED MEMBERS OF THE NINE UNPAID VOLUTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS UNDER THE COORDINATION OF THE PRESIDENT, DR. RICHARD GOWEN. IN 2017, THE APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR FUNDRAISING EXCEED 2,000. LETTERS REQUESTING FUNDING WERE SENT TO INTERESTED GROUPS IN THE COMMUNITY AND ACROSS THE STATE AND UNITED STATES. THE LETTERS WERE FOLLOWED UP WITH DESIGNATIONS FOR PAYMENT IN 2017. IN SPECIFIC CASES, DONATIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS WERE MATCHED BY COMPANIES.
