HOSPICE OF ST. FRANCIS D/B/A ST. FRANCIS REFLECTIONS LIFESTAGE CARE, IS A NFP RESOURCE FOR BREVARD COUNTY, WHICH IS 72 MILES LONG. ST. FRANCIS REFLECTIONS LIFESTAGE CARE HAS TWO LOCATIONS TO COVER THE EXTENT OF THIS LENGTHY GEOGRAPHY. IN ADDITION TO THE ROBUST COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROVIDED BY ST. FRANCIS REFLECTIONS LIFESTAGE CARE, THE HOSPICE OF ST. FRANCIS FOUNDATION D/B/A ST. FRANCIS REFLECTIONS FOUNDATION, REACHES OUT THROUGH DIRECT MAILINGS, SOCIAL MEDIA, AND WEBSITE OFFERINGS TO EXPAND COMMUNITY KNOWLEDGE AND ENCOURAGE SUPPORT OF OUR PROGRAMS. WE FIND THAT THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE HAVE HAD A HOSPICE EXPERIENCE IN SOME WAY, WHICH POTENTIATES SUPPORT. HOWEVER MANY PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE A BROAD UNDERSTANDING OF THE SCOPE OF HOSPICE CARE. (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)ST. FRANCIS REFLECTIONS LIFESTAGE CARE OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES INCLUDING PALLIATIVE CARE FOR THOSE WHO AS SUFFERING FROM CHRONIC ILLNESS BUT STILL SEEKING CURATIVE CARE, TO HOSPICE SERVICES, TO BEREAVEMENT CARE FOR BOTH ADULTS AND CHILDREN, BEFORE, DURING AND LONG AFTER A LOSS OCCURS. IN 2020 THE PEDIATRIC PALLIATIVE CARE PROGRAM BEGAN TO PROVIDE CARE FOR CHILDREN WITH LIFE LIMITING ILLNESSES, THE FIRST PROGRAM OF THE KIND IN BREVARD COUNTY.

DURING THIS YEAR, THE FOUNDATION HOSTED ONE SIGNATURE EVENT, "ROCKIN' THE SUNSET 2023", BENEFITING THE NORTHSTAR, PEDIATRIC PALLITIVE AND WE HONOR THE VETERANS PROGRAMS.
