THE PRIMARY SERVICES OF THE CORPORATION ARE TO: - PROMOTE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE BENEFITS OF HUMAN DONOR MILK FOR PREMATURE AND ILL INFANTS;- ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE BREASTFEEDING IN CENTRAL FLORIDA AREA AND THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA;- INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE BENEFITS OF BREASTFEEDING AND BREAST MILK FOR ALL BABIES;- ACCEPT, PASTEURIZE AND DISPENSE DONOR HUMAN MILK BY HEALTH CARE PROVIDER PRESCRIPTION; - ENCOURAGE RESEARCH TO ENHANCE THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE USE OF HUMAN DONOR MILK;- ASSURE THAT ALL VULNERABLE INFANTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE HUMAN DONOR MILK WHEN MOTHER'S OWN MILK IS NOT AVAILABLE; AND - RAISE CHARITABLE FUNDS FOR EACH OF THE ABOVE.
