TRANSFORMING HIV RESENTMENT INTO VICTORY EVERLASTING SUPPORT SERVICES INCORPORATED (THRIVE SS INC) WAS FOUNDED DECEMBER 4, 2015 BY THREE BLACK GAY MEN LIVING WITH HIV ENDEAVORING TO FIND AN INNOVATIVE WAY TO OFFER SUPPORT, LINKAGE TO HEALTH CARE AND A SENSE OF BELONGING TO A VIBRANT COMMUNITY TO THOSE LIKE THEMSELVES DWAIN BRIDGES, DANIEL DRIFFIN AND LARRY SCOTIWALKER, CREATED THE UNDETECTABLE SUPPORT MODEL AS A WAY TO HALT THE DEATH AND DESPAIR AMONGST BLACK GAY MEN LIVING WITH HIV YOUNG QUEER MEN AND TRANS IDENTIFIED PEOPLE OF COLOR ARE STILL DYING AT ASTRONOMICAL RATES WITH ALL OF THE PREVENTION MESSAGING AND BIOMEDICAL ADVANCEMENTS, THE CDC (CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION) PREDICTS THAT 1 IN 2 BLACK GAY MEN WILL CONTRACT HIV IN HIS LIFETIME WITH STATISTICS AS GRIM AND MORBID AS THESE, IT WAS IMPERATIVE THAT SOMEONE DEVISE A CREATIVE, PEOPLECENTERED APPROACH TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE IN 2014, THE GUYS BEGAN AN INTIMATE INPERSON SUPPORT MEETING.
