DESPITE THE CHALLENGES PRESENTED BY COVID-19 PROJECT TRANSFORMATION CHAPTERS PERSISTED TO BRING SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN VALUABLE SUMMER PROGRAMMING. WITH LEARNING GAPS INCREASING ACROSS THE COUNTRY DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, THESE OPPORTUNITIES TO INCREASE LITERACY AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER. PT NATIONAL SUPPORTED A NETWORK OF EIGHT AFFILIATED CHAPTERS IN CENTRAL TEXAS, INDIANA, NORTH TEXAS, OKLAHOMA, SOUTH RIO TEXAS, TENNESSEE, NORTH GEORGIA, AND WASHINGTON DC. CHILDREN 977 CHILDREN AND YOUTH PARTICIPATED IN PTS SUMMER PROGRAMS. 17,970 BOOKS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS FOR AT-HOME LIBRARIES 59,809 HEALTHY MEALS WERE SERVED, AND 9,842 BOOKS WERE READ. COLLEGE-AGE YOUNG ADULTS 172 INTERNS SERVED 65,348 HOURS. OVER 50 INDICATED INTEREST IN CONTINUING CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP.
