OUR PROGRAM FOCUSES ON SERVING THE PEOPLE LIVING IN FOOD INSECURE HOMES IN WEBSTER PARISH LA. WE DO THAT BY PURCHASING AND GIVING AWAY FOOD TO THOSE THAT MEET THE GUIDELINES LAID FORTH BY THE USDA EVERY YEAR. IN 2020 WE WERE ABLE TO GIVE AWAY 946,000 LBS OF FOOD TO ABOUT 9,000 HOUSEHOLDS. THE ACTUAL COST OF THE FOOD WE GAVE AWAY WAS ALMOST 30K. THIS IS NOT INCLUDING ALL OF THE EXPENSES THAT GO ALONG WITH GETTING THE FOOD TO US STORING IT AND ACTUALLY DISTRIBUTING IT TO THE COMMUNITY
