TO BEFRIEND THE HOMELESS, BRIDGE THE RELATIONAL GAP, AND BUILD LONG-TERM COMMUNITY.

THE HUMAN IMPACT SUPPORTS THE CHRONICALLY HOMELESS THROUGH FRIENDSHIP ADVOCACY. THE ORGANIZATION GOES INTO VARIOUS NEIGHBORHOODS WHERE OVER 1000 HOMELESS PEOPLE LIVE. THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND FUNERALS, TAKES PEOPLE TO THE DOCTOR, HELPS PEOPLE GET INTO ADDICTION RECOVERY PROGRAMS, HELPS THEM GET IDENTIFICATION, AMONG OTHER THINGS.


THE HUMAN IMPACT HELD FEET WASHING EVENTS, IN WHICH WE WASHED THE FEET OF THOSE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS AND PROVIDED THEM NEW SOCKS AND TENNIS SHOES. WE HELD A STREET SIDE SALON EVENT WHERE WE PROVIDED HAIRCUTS AND STYLES TO THE HOMELESS. THE HUMAN IMPACT HELD MEET THE NEED CAMPAIGNS WHICH RAISED MONEY TO BE USED AS GIFTS FOR MUCH NEEDED ITEMS TO THE CURRENTLY AND FORMERLY HOMELESS.


THE HUMAN IMPACT HELPS PLACE AND DEVELOP INNOVATIVE COMMUNITY-BASED HOUSING SOLUTIONS FOR THOSE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS.


THE HUMAN IMPACT SUPPORTS THE CHRONICALLY HOMELESS THROUGH BRIDGING ADVOCACY. THIS IS THE ORGANIZATION'S METHOD OF CONNECTING HOUSED AND UNHOUSED PEOPLE WITH THE GOAL OF HAVING VOLUNTEER ADVOCATES JOIN IN THE WORK OF BEFRIENDING AND ADVOCATING FOR THE CHRONICALLY HOMELESS.
