CAMP EQUITY, A FISCAL SPONSEE THAT ENDED JULY 1 2021, IS A VIRTUAL CAMP THAT EDUCATES YOUNG PEOPLE ON SOCIAL JUSTICE MOVEMENTS BY CONNECTING THEM WITH GRASSROOTS LEADERS FROM ACROSS THE U.S. THESE PROGRAMS ENABLE YOUTH TO MEET A DIVERSE ARRAY OF PEERS WITH WHOM THEY EXPLORE TOPICS IN BREAKOUT CABINS, INSPIRING GROWTH, BUILDING COMMUNITY, AND ENCOURAGING THEM TO BECOME CHANGE-MAKERS IN PURSUIT OF A MORE EQUITABLE WORLD.
THE YOUTH CREATIVE LEADERSHIP FUND IS A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE IN PRODUCING THEIR OWN CREATIVE PROJECTS THAT ADDRESS RACIAL AND HEALTH INEQUITIES IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. YCLF RECIPIENTS CREATE A COLLABORATIVE, CREATIVE OUTCOME ADDRESSING A HYPERLOCAL COMMUNITY BARRIER THAT REFLECTS THE NEEDS, VALUES, AND VISIONS OF THE RESIDENTS IMPACTED WITHIN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
THE COMMUNITY DESIGN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM IS EDUCATING AND TRAINING FORMERLY INCARCERATED AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM IMPACTED BLACK AND LATINX YOUTH TO BECOME CIVIC LEADERS ADDRESSING HYPERLOCAL RACIAL AND HEALTH INEQUITIES (E.G. LIMITED HEALTHY FOOD ACCESS, HOUSING DISPLACEMENT, AND MASS INCARCERATION), USING A UNIQUE EQUITY-CENTERED CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING FRAMEWORK.
