TO RAISE AWARENESS OF WOMEN'S HEART DISEASE BY EMPLOYING CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY, HOSTING CREATIVE EDUCATIONAL SYMPOSIUMS AND ENCOURAGING COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS.

WOMEN'S HEART SYMPOSIUM - ANNUAL EDUCATION SYMPOSIUM TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY REGARDING HEART DISEASE WHICH IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH IN WOMEN. OUR 10TH YEAR EVENT WAS A BIG COMMUNITY EFFORT AND THE MAYOR DEDICATED A DAY IN SANTA MONICA TO WOMEN'S HEART DISEASE AWARENESS. THE 2023 EVENT ALSO FEATURED THE PRESIDENT OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF CARDIOLOGY, DIPTI ITCHHAPORIA, MD, WHO SPOKE ABOUT FEMALE LEADERSHIP IN THE SPACE OF HEART DISEASE PREVENTION. WE ALSO REVIEWED UPDATES IN THE WORLD OF CARDIOLOGY ALONG WITH A TWO-VIDEO PRESENTED PATIENT SPOTLIGHTS. HEARTSIDE CHATS - SMALLER COMMUNITY EVENTS IN A MORE INTERACTIVE SETTING TO MEET WITH WOMEN AND ENGAGE THEM ON A MORE INDIVIDUALIZED BASIS. WE HOSTED TWO EVENTS FOCUSED ON LONGEVITY AND INFLAMMATION AS THEY RELATE BACK TO HEART DISEASE.
