DURING 2022 OUR ORGANIZATION MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF 121 CHILDREN WHO WERE EXPERIENCING LENGTHY HOSPITALIZATIONS AT OUR AREA HOSPITALS. WE PROVIDED THEM BEDDING AND ROOM DECORATIONS, AS WELL AS ARTS AND CRAFTS, STUFFED ANIMALS, TOYS, BOOKS, AND OTHER ITEMS TO HELP THEM COPE WITH THEIR HOSPITALIZATION. IN ADDITION, WE PROVIDED PARENT/CAREGIVER SUPPORT BAGS, WHICH CONTAINED ITEMS THAT HELPED THE PARENTS WHO ARE LIVING IN A HOSPITAL ROOM WITH THEIR CHILD. DURING HALLOWEEN WEEK WE BROUGHT 21 BAGS OF HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS AND TREATS TO EACH CHILD HOSPITALIZED ON THE ONCOLOGY FLOOR AT DOERNBECHER. OUR BOD IS MADE UP OF VOLUNTEERS WHO SPEND COUNTLESS HOURS AND DRIVE HUNDREDS OF MILES TO PROVIDE THESE SERVICES. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A BIT OF CHEER TO CHILDREN WHO ARE GOING THROUGH A DIFFICULT TIME.
