TRAINING AND PARTNERSHIPS: DELIVERED 18-HOURS OF LEADERSHIP AND EQUITY TRAINING FOR 19 PARTICIPANTS TO SUPPORT IMPROVED BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PRACTICES FOR SMALL NONPROFITS AND MINORITY-OWNED BUSINESSES IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY. SERVED AS FISCAL SPONSOR FOR A COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON YOUTH ENGAGEMENT AND ADVANCEMENT. SERVED AS A SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT HUB FOR 17 ARTISTS, CULTURAL PRACTITIONERS, AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE MENTORING, CAPACITY BUILDING, AND IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT FOR PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT CAMPAIGNS BASED WITHIN SAN DIEGO COUNTY'S MOST VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES.


LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: GRADUATED AN EIGHTH COHORT OF 16 FELLOWS AND LAUNCHED A NINTH COHORT OF 19 FELLOWS FOR THE RISE URBAN LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAM, A NINE-MONTH, INTENSIVE ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP TRAINING.


CIVIC ENGAGEMENT: HOSTED THE RISE INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP IN ACTION (ILIA) AWARDS, OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER AND AWARDS CEREMONY WHERE SIX SAN DIEGO COUNTY INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS WHO WERE NOMINATED BY COMMUNITY MEMBERS WERE HONORED FOR THEIR INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP PRACTICES. HOSTED THE SECOND COMMUNITY IMPACT SHOWCASE, WHICH ELEVATES AND CELEBRATES THE COMMUNITY PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS DESIGNED AND FURTHER DEVELOPED THROUGH THE RISE URBAN LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAM AND NONPROFIT PARTNERSHIPS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE COHORTS AND FEATURES PROJECT EXHIBITS AND A JUDGED PITCH COMPETITION.
