OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS, SINCE INITIATING THREE SHELTER-RELATED PROGAMS IN 2020, ARF HAS SUCCESSFULLY HELPED 2,574 ANIMALS. IN 2022 ARF ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING: SPAYED/NEUTERED AND VACCINATED 229 FERAL/STRAY CATS THROUGH OUR TRAP, NEUTER/SPAY, VACCINATE, RETURN (TNVR) CLINICS; ISSUED 86 SPAY/NEUTER VOUCHERS THAT PROVIDE APPROX. 50% OF THE PROCEDURE COSTS, FOCUSED ON LOW-INCOME PET OWNERS, SENIORS AND VETERANS; TRANSFERRED 355 SURRENDERED FRIENDLY CATS, KITTENS, DOGS AND PUPPIES TO PARTNER SHELTERS WHERE THERE IS A LAGER POPULATION BASE TO ADOPT THESE ANIMALS; PLACED 59 ANIMALS IN NEW HOMES THROUGH LOCAL ADOPTIONS; PROVIDED FUNDS TO HELP PAY MEDICAL SERVICES FOR 66 ANIMALS; PROVIDED FOSTER CARE FOR 214 ANIMALS IN NEED OF TEMPORARY HOMES; AND REDISTRIBUTED OVER 2,238 POUNDS OF DRY PET FOOD AND 59 CASES OF CANNED PET FOOD TO PET OWNERS IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE.
