DEVELOPED BY FORESIGHT LAW + POLICY OF WASHINGTON, D.C., THE REPORT INCLUDES: (A) A THOROUGH DISCUSSION OF MAJOR NEEDS CONFRONTING NEBRASKA COMMUNITIES, STUDENTS, AND EMPLOYERS, INFORMED BY RESEARCH AND INTERVIEWS WITH OVER 50 BUSINESS, EDUCATION, AND GOVERNMENT LEADERS; (B) A DETAILED REVIEW OF THE CURRENT STATE OF NEBRASKA'S EARLY CHILDHOOD, K-12, AND POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION SECTORS; AND (C) A SERIES OF RECOMMENDATIONS, INFORMED BY NATIONAL RESEARCH AND BEST PRACTICES, TO ENHANCE THE PERFORMANCE OF NEBRASKA'S EDUCATION SYSTEM IN IDENTIFYING AND PRODUCING THE TALENT NECESSARY TO GROW THE STATE'S ECONOMY.AN EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF THE REPORT WAS ALSO PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED.(2) PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED THE "EDUCATION IN NEBRASKA BY THE NUMBERS" REPORT.
