PROVIDE GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE NEBRASKA CHILDREN'S HOME SOCIETY TO CARRY OUT ITS MISSION OF "PROVIDING SAFE AND LOVING CARE TO CHILDREN" OF ALL AGES THROUGH PREGNANCY, PARENTING AND ADOPTION SERVICES, FOSTER CARE AND EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS.

GRANTS TO NEBRASKA CHILDREN'S HOME SOCIETY FOR: - FREE CONFIDENTIAL SUPPORT AND EDUCATION TO ANYONE EXPERIENCING AN UNPLANNED PREGNANCY AND ASSISTING THOSE INDIVIDUALS IN DEVELOPING EITHER A PARENTING OR ADOPTION PLAN.- FOSTER PARENTS WHO OPEN THEIR HOMES TO CHILDREN WHO NEED SPECIALIZED CARE AND WORK WITH AT-RISK CHILDREN BY HELPING PARENTS LEARN SKILLS NECESSARY TO KEEP CHILDREN SAFE IN THEIR OWN HOMES.- CHILD CARE AND OTHER COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WITH A FOCUS ON DEVELOPING CHILDREN'S COGNITIVE, PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND BEHAVIORAL SKILLS.- CHILDREN AND FAMILY CENTER FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN IN AN AREA WHERE FAMILIES FACE NUMEROUS SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGES.
