UNITED RETIREMENT CENTER OPERATED AN 81-BED SKILLED CARE NURSING FACILITY ALONG WITH 16 APARTMENT UNITS (PARK PLACE APARTMENTS), AND 28 ASSISTED LIVING UNITS (PARK PLACE ASSISTED LIVING CENTER) LOCATED IN BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA. DURING 2021, UNITED LIVING COMMUNITY HAD 18,761 RESIDENT DAYS AND PARK PLACE ASSISTED LIVING HAD 8,238 ASSISTED LIVING DAYS. THE FACILITY IS A CHARITABLE NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE THE OLDER ADULTS IN THE COMMUNITY WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF CARE.
