FOSTER CARE: EPWORTH VILLAGE SERVES FAMILIES AND CHILDREN WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED A CRISIS SITUATION WITHIN THEIR OWN HOME AND NEED TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE. FAMILY PARTNERS, VISITATION SPECIALISTS, AND FOSTER HOMES PROVIDE SECURITY, TEACHING, CONSISTENCY AND SAFETY FOR CHILDREN AND WORK AS PART OF A PROFESSIONAL TEAM TO HELP FAMILIES. THEY ARE SUPPORTED THROUGH 24-HOUR ASSISTANCE, INITIAL TRAINING AND ON-GOING EDUCATION, IN-HOME INTERVENTIONS, AND PARENT SUPPORT GROUPS.
DAY CARE: LITTLE JEWELS, A MINISTRY OF EPWORTH VILLAGE PROVIDES A HANDS-ON, CREATIVE APPROACH TO LEARNING THAT ALLOWS CHILDREN TO EXPLORE THEIR CURIOSITIES AND LEARN ABOUT THE WORLD AROUND THEM. THE CENTER PROVIDES CARE FOR CHILDREN 6 WEEKS TO 5 YEARS OLD. THE ORGANIZATION STRIVES TO PROVIDE ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE QUALITY CARE AND EDUCATION TO FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN, REGARDLESS OF THEIR INCOME.
IN-HOME FAMILY SERVICES: EPWORTH VILLAGE OFFERS SUPPORT AND TREATMENT FOR FAMILIES LOCATED IN THE NORTHERN, CENTRAL, AND SOUTHEAST SERVICE AREAS. SERVICES CAN BE PROVIDED FOR STATE PROBATION AND OR NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES' FAMILIES AND YOUTH. OUR IN-HOME SERVICES ARE TAILORED TO FIT THE FAMILY'S SPECIFIC NEEDS, GOALS, VALUES, LEARNING STYLES, AND CIRCUMSTANCES. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN ARE IN IMMINENT RISK OF OUT-OF-HOME PLACEMENT AND FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE AT THE POINT OF REUNIFICATION OR WHO HAVE BEEN PLACED OUT-OF-HOME BUT THAT ARE NOT READY FOR UNSUPERVISED HOME VISITATIONS. OUR WORKERS ARE AVAILABLE 24/7. SERVICES ARE HOURLY AND WEEKLY DEPENDING ON THE REFERRAL'S NEEDS. THE SERVICES OCCUR WITHIN THE FAMILY HOME.
