THE FRIENDS OF THE FRANKLIN COUNTY REGIONAL DOG SHELTER, A NON- PROFIT CORPORATION GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF MASSACHUSETTS, WAS ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT THE OPERATION OF THE FRANKLIN COUNTY REGIONAL DOG SHELTER AND ADOPTION CENTER. THE FRIENDS BELIEVE THAT ALL DOGS ARE ENTITLED TO A LIFE FREE OF UNNECESSARY PAIN AND SUFFERING IN A HOME WITH A RESPONSIBLE GUARDIAN. WE HOLD, THEREFORE, THAT IT IS OUR MORAL RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT AND IMPROVE THE LIVES OF FRANKLIN COUNTY'S ABUSED, ABANDONED AND HOMELESS DOGS AND TO ARRANGE FOR THEIR ADOPTION INTO LOVING, PERMANENT HOMES.

Part 3 - Line 4a

TO SUPPORT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A WECOMING FACILITY FOR STRAY, LOST AND UNWANTED DOGS; PROVIDING VETERINARY SERVICE TO INCLUDE BASIC AND EMERGENCY CARE AND SPAY AND NEUTERING. THE FRANKLIN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE HAS CONTRACTED WITH TOWNS IN THE COUNTY TO SERVE AS THEIR CARE FACILITY FOR UNWANTED DOGS.
