WE SHELTER ANIMALS IN NEED AND SECURE PERMANENT HOMES FOR ADOPTABLE PETS. WE PROVIDE PRACTICAL AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO THE PUBLIC TO ADVANCE THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF ANIMAL CARE AND HELP KEEP PETS IN THEIR HOMES. WE ENFORCE HUMANE LAW THROUGHOUT DUTCHESS COUNTY. WE STRIVE FOR A COMMUNITY IN WHICH ALL ANIMALS ARE TREATED WITH COMPASSION AND RESPECT.

HUMANE LAW ENFORCEMENT: HUMANE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS INVESTIGATE ANIMAL CRUELTY THROUGHOUT DUTCHESS COUNTY AND REMOVE ANIMALS FROM INHUMANE AND DANGEROUS SITUATIONS, OFFERING THEM A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE. THEIR EFFORTS RESULT IN NUMEROUS CRUELTY INVESTIGATIONS, ARRESTS, AND CULMINATE IN SUCCESSFUL PROSECUTIONS.
OUR TEAM RESCUES ABANDONED, ABUSED AND NEGLECTED COMPANION ANIMALS THROUGHOUT DUTCHESS COUNTY. WE PROVIDE TEMPORRY SHELTER IN OUR STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY. WHILE IN OUR CARE, ANIMALS RECEIVE NEEDED MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE, VACCINATIONS, FOOD/NUTRITION, EXCERCISE AND OTHER ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES, AS WELL AS ASSESSMENT AND TRAINING/SOCIALIZATION TO HELP IN SECURING LOVING HOMES. WE ASSIST ADOPTERS IN FINDING GOOD MATCHES AND PROVIDE POST-ADOPTION SERVICES WITH AN AIM TOWARDS MAKING LASTING FRIENDSHIPS.
MEDICAL CLINIC: WE ASSIST THE PUBLIC WITH THE HEALTH OF THEIR PETS BY OFFERING LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER, WELLNES EXAMS, AND PERIODIC FREE RABIES CLINICS.
