LAGONAVE ALIVE IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZED TO SERVE GOD AND TO BRING HOPE, HEALTH, AND HAPPINESS TO THE PEOPLE ON THE ISLAND OF LAGONAVE, HAITI. WE CONVEY THE MESSAGE OF CHRIST THROUGH THE AREAS OF EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE, AND MINISTERING TO THOSE IN NEED, ESPECIALLY WOMEN, CHILDREN, AND THE ELDERLY.

WE PROVIDE GRANTS AND SUPPORT MINISTRIES IN LAGONAVE, HAITI. IN 2021, WE PROVIDED CLINIC SERVICES TO 1,000 PATIENTS INSIDE OUR CLINIC OR THROUGH MOBILE CLINICS IN SURROUNDING VILLAGES. WE CLOSED OUR CLINIC IN THE VILLAGE OF ZETWA AND OPENED A CLINIC ATTACHED TO OUR SCHOOL. THIS HAS PROVIDED EASIER ACCESS FOR OUR MEDICAL STAFF AND WE ARE SEEING A LARGE INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF PATIENTS WE ARE SERVING. WE PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO ALL 170 STUDENTS TO HELP THEM ATTEND OUR SCHOOL, THE ROB MARCHAND INSTITUTE. WE CURRENTLY HAVE GRADES ONE TO SEVEN AND OUR PLANS ARE TO ADD GRADE EIGHT IN FALL 2022. THE BACK TO SCHOOL PROGRAM PROVIDED PENS, PENCILS, AND NOTEBOOKS TO 1000 CHILDREN. AT OUR ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY, WE HAD A PROGRAM AND GAVE A SMALL GIFT AND A MEAL TO 700 CHILDREN. DUE TO UNREST IN THE COUNTRY, WE HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO RECEIVE FOOD PACKETS TO DISTRIBUTE TO THE ELDERLY.
