IQRA FUND'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO SUSTAINABLE QUALITY EDUCATION IN REMOTE TRIBAL REGIONS OF PAKISTAN. WE CURRENTLY WORK "AT THE END OF THE ROAD" IN GILGIT-BALTISTAN, PAKISTAN PROVIDING THE CRITICAL SOCIAL SERVICES AND FUNDING NECESSARY TO BREAK THE FINANCIAL, SOCIAL, CULTURAL, POLITICAL, GEOGRAPHIC AND HISTORICAL BARRIERS THAT PREVENT GIRLS FROM GOING TO SCHOOL, STAYING IN SCHOOL, AND RECEIVING A QUALITY EDUCATION.

IQRA FUND ESTABLISHES HIGH QUALITY SELF-SUSTAINING SCHOOL SYSTEMS IN THE REMOTE, MOUNTAINOUS REGIONS OF NORTHERN PAKISTAN. WE ARE DEDICATED TO EMPOWERING ALL STUDENTS, ESPECIALLY GIRLS.PARTNERING WITH COMMUNITIES THAT REQUEST OUR SUPPORT, WE PROVIDE ACCESS TO EDUCATION FOR BOTH GIRLS AND BOYS, WITH A PRIMARY GOAL OF ENSURING 100% OF THE GIRLS IN OUR PARTNER VILLAGES ATTEND SCHOOL. WE WORK WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, COMMUNITY LEADERS, PARENTS, AND TEACHERS TO INVEST IN LONG-TERM STUDENT SUCCESS, IMPROVING GENERATIONAL PROSPERITY.THIS SUPPORT IS ACHIEVED THROUGH TUITION ASSISTANCE, BOOKS, MATERIALS, UNIFORMS, AND FEES, PROVIDING A GIRL-FRIENDLY SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT (INCLUDING CLASSROOM AND WASHROOM CONSTRUCTION), AND SUPPORTING TEACHERS' SALARIES.
