PARTNERS IN FOOD SOLUTIONS (PFS), A CONSORTIUM OF LEADING GLOBAL FOOD COMPANIES GENERAL MILLS, CARGILL, ROYAL DSM, BUHLER, THE HERSHEY COMPANY, ARDENT MILLS, AND THE J.M. SMUCKER COMPANY WORKS TO IMPROVE FOOD SECURITY, NUTRITION, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN AFRICA BY LINKING EMPLOYEES FROM OUR CORPORATE PARTNERS WITH SMALL-TO-MEDIUM SIZED FOOD COMPANIES IN AFRICA TO REMOTELY WORK TOGETHER ON SOLVING TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS FACING CLIENT COMPANIES. PFS HAS WORKED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TECHNOSERVE AND THE U.S. AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (USAID) TO DELIVER PROGRAMS THAT OFFER TECHNICAL BUSINESS ADVISING, MARKET LINKAGES, AND CONNECTIONS TO OUTSIDE FINANCING OPPORTUNITIES.
