CODE: USG20 +CJA19 - THIS PROJECT WAS STARTED IN 2015 IT HAS BEEN RUNNING STEADILY WITH A TEAM OF 12 TO 25 PEOPLE, TO GIVE A VOICE TO THE YAZIDI COMMUNITY, WITH MULTIPLE AIMS: TO PRESERVE YAZIDI CULTURAL IDENTITY, TO COLLECT TESTIMONIES OF THE CRIMES COMMITTED AGAINST ITS PEOPLE, TO RECORD THE DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY AND INFRASTRUCTURE, TO IDENTIFY ON THE GROUND THE MASS GRAVES AND KILLING SITES, AND TO ALLOW, THROUGH THE PROCESS OF REMEMBERING, AN OPPORTUNITY TO HEAL. THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED BY THE US STATE DEPARTMENT/ GLOBAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE DEPARTMENT.

YAZDA MOBILE UNIT HAS BEEN SUPPORTING THOUSANDS OF PATIENTS AS THE PRIMARY CARE PROVIDERS FOR THOSE FAMILIES WHO DON`T FIND MEDICAL SUPPORT IN THE REGION. THIS IS A HUMANITARIAN MISSION THAT HAS BEEN CONTINUOUS FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW. THIS PROJECT IS SUPPORTED BY SV A NORWEGIAN BASED ORGANIZATION.
4C. LIVELIHOOD PROJECT SUPPORTED BY USAID USD114,447 FOR THE YEAR 2021 | THE PROJECT COVERS SINJAR AREAS WHERE THE YAZIDI COMMUNITY MAINLY LIVES. IT'S FUNDED BY USAID AND SUPPORTED BY IOM. THE AIMS OF THE PROJECT ARE TO SUPPORT THE RETURN OF THE MOST VULNERABLE AND UNDERTAKE A MULTIDISCIPLINARY, SUPERVISED PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES LIVELIHOOD, AND ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE, SUPPORTING ACCESS TO SERVICES INCLUDING SOCIAL COHESION AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT, DIASPORA ENGAGEMENT, AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT. ACTIVITIES AND TARGETS: * OPEN 30 SMALL BUSINESSES FOR RETURNEES IN SINJAR * CONTINUE SUPPORTING 35 TEACHERS IN 8 SCHOOLS WHICH HOSTS 5800 STUDENTS * SUPPORTING 8 SCHOOLS WITH STATIONERY AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES EVERY MONTH * SUPPORTING 6 YOUTH GROUPS FOR COMMUNITY AND YOUTH MOBILIZATION AND ACTIVISMS * PROVIDING PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT TO 240 BENEFICIARIES |4D.
