THE ORGANIZATION OVERSEES AND PROMOTES PROGRAMS AT INDIAN CREEK PLAZA IN DOWNTOWN CALDWELL THROUGH A MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY. DURING 2021, THE PLAZA HELD 267 EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES DRAWING APPROXIMATELY 300,000 PEOPLE, OF WHICH 45,000 WERE SKATING PATRONS. THE PLAZA PROVIDES BUSINESS ACCESS, PUBLIC SEATING, OUTDOOR SPLASH PADS, AND HOSTS EVENTS SUCH AS CONCERT SERIES, FARMER'S MARKET, FITNESS ACTIVITIES, EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH, FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT, WINTER WONDERLAND, INDIAN CREEK FESTIVAL, AND OTHER CULTURAL EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND A PUBLIC ICE SKATING RINK DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. A VISITOR INFORMATION AND WELCOME CENTER IS OPEN TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY.
THE ORGANIZATION DESIGNED AND IMPLEMENTED ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES TO STIMULATE AGRITOURISM SPECIFICALLY THROUGH THEIR PROGRAM CALLED "AGVENTURE TRAIL" WHERE VISITORS TOUR LOCAL FARMS AND RANCHES TO EXPERIENCE A HANDS-ON APPROACH TO LEARNING ABOUT THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY. IN ADDITION, THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE IDAHO FARMER'S MARKET AND LOCAL PRODUCERS, THE ORGANIZATION EXPANDED THE AVAILABILITY OF FRESH, LOCAL FOOD TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES AND THE ELDERY THROUGH THE "FARM TO FORK" FARMER'S MARKET. THE ORGANIZATION ALIGNS THEIR "FARM TO FORK- AND "FARM TO CORK" CAMPAIGNS TO CONNECT LOCAL FARMERS DIRECTLY TO CONSUMERS AND DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES, SUCH AS WITH THEIR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE SUNNYSLOPE WINE TRAIL.
THE ORGANIZATION ADMINISTERS, ALONG WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE DOWNTOWN CALDWELL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, OPERATIONS, PROMOTIONS, AND PROGRAMMING FOR INDIAN CREEK PLAZA, SPECIAL PROJECTS AIMED TOWARDS IMPROVING THE BEAUTIFICATION AND CLEANLINESS OF THE PLAZA AND SURROUNDING AREAS AS WELL AS PROVIDING MARKETING RESOURCES TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR SMALL BUSINESSES THROUGHOUT THE DISTRICT.
