MNCODES EDUCATOR PROGRAM: MNCODES EDUCATOR PROGRAM TRAINED APPROXIMATELY 625 EDUCATORS AND IMPACTED ABOUT 7,500 STUDENTS DIRECTLY IN THEIR CLASSROOMS. VIRTUAL MONTHLY COHORT SESSIONS GAVE EDUCATORS THE SKILLS AND APPROACH NEEDED TO EQUITABLY BRING COMPUTER SCIENCE DIRECTLY INTO THEIR CLASSROOMS.
TECHNOVATIONMN: TECHNOVATIONMN PROGRAM HELPED 129 GIRLS LEARN DESIGN THINKING SKILLS AND DEVELOP MOBILE APPLICATIONS WITH THE HELP OF 89 MENTORS FROM THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY AND 51 JUDGES AT OUR APPAPALOOZA EVENT. ALL EVENTS WERE HELD VIRTUALLY.
CODE CAMPS / CODERDOJO TC AND REBECCA CODERDOJO: YEAR-ROUND VIRTUAL CODING CLUBS CLOCKED ABOUT 1,000 LEARNING HOURS FOR STUDENTS AND OVER 600 VOLUNTEER HOURS IN 2021. THESE LESSONS FOCUSED MAINLY ON SCRATCH, THUNKABLE, AND THE PYTHON PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE. WE DID NOT HAVE IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING AGAIN THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS.
