SAFE HAVEN CHEATHAM COUNTY, INC IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT SERVES VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THE AGENCY PROVIDES SHORT-TERM CRISIS INTERVENTION AND EMERGENCY SERVICES TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WITHIN RURAL CHEATHAM COUNTY WHILE ASSISTING VICTMES IN ADDRESSING THE PSYCHOLOGICAL AND EMOTIONAL TRAUMA THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED. SHCC STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS NETWORK FOR VICTIMS RIGHTS, GUIDING THE VICTIME THROUGH THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES, THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM, AND PROVIDING SUPPORT AND A SAFE PLACE TO STAY.
