SPONSOR TRAINING TO COMPETITIVE SWIMMERS, SUPPOORT THEM IN ENETERING MEETS, SUPPORT IN QUALIFYING FOR THE JUNIOR OLYMPICS, AND PARTICIPATING IN USA SWIMMING EVENTS. PROVIDE SUPPLIES AND SWIM GEAR FOR THESE AREAS.
THE CLUB SPONSORED COACHES AND 21 SWIMMERS TO ATTEND TEH AAU JR OLYMPICS MEET IN COCOA BEACH FLORIDA IN JULY. DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS THIS WAS THE ONLY NATIONAL MEET OFFERED IN THE SUMMER MONTHS.
THE CLUB SPONSORED A BANQUET TO RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDNG SWIMMERS AS WELL AS OUTGOING SENIORS. THE BANQUET WAS ABLE TO OCCUR AFTER MULTIPLE DATE CHANGES AND AFTER BEING MOVED OUTSIDE WITH ADDITIONAL COVID RESTRICTIONS. NASA ASTRONAUT CHARLIE DRY ATTENDED AS THE GUEST SPEAKER.
