TO FOSTER NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR SPORTS COMPETITION AND TO PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLNESS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY, PROVIDE OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, AND FOSTER AN APPRECIATION FOR THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.

THE ORGANIZATION OFFERED ROWING PROGRAMS FOR ALL LEVELS AND AGES THROUGH YOUTH RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS, INTRODUCTION TO ROWING CLINICS, AND YOUTH AND ADULT COMPETITION TEAMS. COMMUNITY OUTREACH INCLUDED PROGRAMS FOR VETERANS, BREAST-CANCER SURVIVORS, AT-RISK YOUTH, ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGES YOUTH, SENIOR CITIZENS, PARALYMPIC ATHLETES AND INTELLECTUALLY CHALLENGED ADULTS. YOUTH COMPETITION TEAMS COMPETE REGIONALLY AND NATIONALLY. ADULT TEAMS RACE COMPETITIVELY AT NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL REGATTAS. IN 2023, THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED TWO REGATTAS, THE HEAD OF THE COLORADO, AND THE HEART OF TEXAS. IN ADDITION TO ROWING PROGRAMS, THE ORGANIZATION OFFERED KAYAK AND STANDUP-PADDLE BOARD RENTALS AND GUIDED TOURS.
