THE FREEDOM FOUNDATION SERVES MANY NEEDS OF ACTIVE DUTY, RESERVE, AND HONORABLY DISCHARGED MILITARY VETERANS. WE PROVIDE A PLACE FOR VETERANS TO INTERACT WITH FELLOW VETERANS AND SHARE IN THE CAMARADERIE THAT THEY HAVE SHARED WHILE PROUDLY SERVING OUR COUNTRY. WE DILIGENTLY WORK WITHIN OUR ORGANIZATION AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO ASSIST VETERANS WITH LODGING, FOOD, TRANSPORTATION, FINANCIAL, AND PHYSICAL/MENTAL MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. OUR CENTER PROVIDES A RESOURCE CENTER AND GUIDANCE TO NAVIGATE THE BEST PATH FOR OUR INDIVIDUALS' NEEDS. WE STRIVE TO CREATE CLOSE INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS, TRUST, AND AN EMOTIONAL SAFETY NET WITH ALL OF OUR VETERANS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

VETERAS EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FUND (VEAF) HELPS VETERANS WHEN THEY ARE A LITTLE SHORT FINANCIALLY OR WITH BASIC ITEMS NEEDED (EX. WINTER COAT). WE HELP VETERANS WITH THEIR RENT, DEPOSITS, UTILITIES, AUTO REPAIRS/TAGS/REGISTRATION. IN 2023 WE ASSISTED WITH 64 VETERANS IN EMERGENCY FINANCIAL NEED.


VETERANS FOOD PANTRY & LUNCH PROGRAM: VETERANS RECEIVE FOOD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR THROUGH MEALS SERVED AS WELL AS DELIVERY OF FOOD PANTRY ITEMS TO INDIVIDUALS THAT MAY HAVE MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. DURING 2023, THE FOOD PANTRY PROGRAM SERVED 3,975 VETERANS MEALS THROUGH THE VETERAN'S LUNCH PROGRAM, 2,173 VETERANS RECEIVED GOODS FROM THE FOOD PANTRY.


VETERANS HOMELESS SHELTER PROGRAM; PUTTING VETERANS IN SHELTERS TO KEEP THEM OFF THE STREET AND GET THEM INTO PERMANENT HOUSING. IN 2023, THIS PROGRAM PROVIDED HOUSING FOR 4 VETERANS.
