H.O.P.E PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PARTICIPANTS TO BECOME MORE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THEIR COMMUNITIES BY OFFERING THEM A VARIETY OF SOCIAL OUTLETS, EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS, AND OPTIONS IN WHICH TO INCREASE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE. THEIR PARTICIPATION IN MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES RAISES AWARENESS WITHIN COMMUNITY SETTINGS AND HIGHLIGHTS THEIR VALUE AS DISTINCTIVE HUMAN BEINGS WHILE ENCOURAGING THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERDEPENDENCE BETWEEN INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE DISABLED AND THOSE WHO ARE NOT.
