SINCE REOPENING ITS DOORS IN SEPTEMBER 2021 FROM THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE DUE TO COVID-19, THE AKRON CHILDREN'S MUSEUM SPENT 2022 REBOUNDING, REBUILDING, AND REIGNITING ITS CAPITAL CAMPAIGN PROJECT.THE ORIGINALCAMPAIGNGOAL OF 500,000 INCREASED TO 650,000. CONSTRUCTION BEGAN IN QUARTER 4 AND CONTINUED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS THEREAFTER UNTIL COMPLETION.THE MUSEUM SIGNIFICANTLY EXPANDED BIRTHDAY PARTY OFFERINGS AND EXPANDED OUTREACH EFFORTS, CONTINUING TO FULFILL THE MISSION OF THE MUSEUM THROUGH PROGRAMMING TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY.
