TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A LIBRARY AND MUSEUM FOR THE USE OF FREEMASONS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC CONSISTING OF AND DISPLAYING ITEMS RELATED TO FREEMASONRY.

1. MAINTAINED AND OPERATED THE MASONIC MUSEUM AND TEMPLE AT AN ANNUAL OPERATING COST OF APPROXIMATELY 2.2 MILLION IN 2022. THE MASONIC MUSEUM AND TEMPLE IS A REGISTERED NATIONAL HISTORICAL LANDMARK BUILT IN 1868 AND COVERS APPROXIMATELY 80,000 SQUARE FEET. IT CONTAINS SEVEN LODGE HALLS, EACH DONE IN A DIFFERENT HISTORICAL ARCHITECTURAL STYLE. 2. THE MASONIC LIBRARY AND MUSEUM OF PENNSYLVANIA HOUSES OVER 135,000 OBJECTS AND SERVES AS A POPULAR RESOURCE FOR RESEARCH AND REFERENCE CONCERNING MASONIC HISTORY. THE MUSEUM COLLECTION INCLUDES OVER 30,000 ITEMS. THE LIBRARY HOUSES OVER 75,000 VOLUMES AND AN ADDITIONAL 30,000 DOCUMENTS AND MANUSCRIPTS. 3. THE MUSEUM ACTIVELY COLLECTS ART AND ARTIFACTS OF HISTORICAL INTEREST, WHILE PRESENTING DISPLAYS AND MANAGING EXHIBITS THAT ENRICH A SENSE OF MASONIC HISTORY. THE DISPLAYS IN THE MUSEUM ARE CHANGED ON A PERIODIC BASIS TO HIGHLIGHT THE COLLECTION OF ARTIFACTS AND DOCUMENTS. 4. MAINTAINED AND OPERATED THE CIRCULATING LIBRARY OF BOOKS AND PERIODICALS AT THE MASONIC TEMPLE. 5. LIBRARY STAFF RESPONDS TO SEVERAL HUNDRED INQUIRIES FROM VARIOUS RESEARCHERS AND CATALOGUES MANUSCRIPTS/BLUE PRINTS/MINUTE BOOKS. 6. CONDUCTED TOURS OF THE MASONIC TEMPLE FOR OVER 11,000 VISITORS. THE MASONIC TEMPLE WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FIVE DAYS A WEEK THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. 7. THE MASONIC EDUCATION COMMITTEE OFFERED ONLINE COURSES IN MASONIC LAW, MENTOR PROGRAM, AND MASONIC HISTORY ALONG WITH REGIONAL WORKSHOPS ON MASONIC EDUCATION. 8. CONTINUED THE SPEAKER SERIES THAT IS BOTH LIVE AT THE MASONIC TEMPLE AND BROADCAST IN REAL-TIME TO REGISTERED VISITORS. 9.THE ONE NORTH BROAD (ONE) VENUE HOSTED 25 CANDLELIGHT CONCERTS AND OVER 85 SOCIAL, MASONIC AND CORPORATE EVENTS.
