STONE BARNS CENTER IS A NONPROFIT FARM, EDUCATION, AND RESEARCH CENTER WITH A MISSION TO CATALYZE AN ECOLOGICAL FOOD CULTURE.THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGES IN DIVERSIFIED, REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE AND EXPLORES THE PATTERNS OF EATING NEEDED TO SUPPORT IT. WE ENGAGE IN THESE PRACTICES IN THE BIOREGION OF THE HUDSON VALLEY AND SEEK TO BROADCAST OUR KNOWLEDGE TO COLLABORATORS AND PARTNERS IN OUR BIOREGION. ULTIMATELY, OUR WORK ASPIRES TO INFORM OTHER REGIONS IN THE TRANSFORMATION OF ECOLOGICALLY-GROUNDED FOOD SYSTEMS.
