RHN'S PURPOSE IS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF RURAL OKLAHOMA BY BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE NETWORK OF INTEGRATED SERVICES. THIS INCLUDES ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS (EHRS) AND HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE (HIE) CONSULTING, CREATING COUNTY HEALTH IMPROVEMENT ORGANIZATIONS (HIOS) AND EDUCATING HEALTHCARE PRACTITIONERS AND THE COMMUNITY ABOUT HEALTH CARE LAW, AMONG OTHER THINGS. RAM OKLAHOMA PROVIDES FREE DENTAL, VISION, AND LIMITED MEDICAL CARE ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS WITH NO INCOME QUALIFICATIONS. A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROJECT WAS INTEGRATED AS WELL.
